Floating Fender Keyring

A small, practical bit of kit for anyone who spends time around boats, marinas, rivers, lakes or the coast.

Our Floating Fender Keyring is inspired by the familiar fenders found hanging from boats, but with a useful difference: it's designed to provide buoyancy for your keys if they end up in the water.

Each fender is 3D printed in PETG and features two completely sealed hollow flotation chambers, connected by sealed hollow pegs. This twin-chamber construction provides plenty of internal air volume while keeping the design compact and lightweight.

The fender is supplied with a plastic-coated stainless-steel wire keyring, making it easy to attach to your boat keys, marina keys, padlock keys or everyday key set.

The Floating Fender Keyring has been tested in water with a set of three keys attached and successfully provided buoyancy.

As key weights and combinations vary, we recommend testing the keyring with your own keys before relying on it to keep them afloat.

Built-in identification area

One side of the fender has a flat surface specifically intended for identification.

Use it to add:

• Your name
• Boat name
• Telephone number
• Marina berth
• Other contact details

A waterproof label, permanent marker or similar suitable method can be used.

This can be particularly useful if your keys are found after being dropped or lost.

Important information

This product is designed to provide buoyancy for keys and other small items in water. The amount of buoyancy available depends on the total weight and configuration of the items attached.

The keyring has been tested with three keys, but individual keys and key sets vary considerably in weight and size. Always test the keyring with your own keys before relying on it to keep them afloat.

Inspect the fender regularly and do not use it if it has been damaged, cracked, punctured or otherwise compromised. Do not attach valuable, essential or safety-critical items without first confirming that the keyring is suitable for the intended load.
